About this animal

Chinchillas are gentle, extremely soft and surprisingly long-lived, but they are built for the cold Andes and suffer badly above 25 °C. This white mosaic female is calm and used to being handled. She needs a cool room, a tall cage, a nightly dust bath and, ideally, a chinchilla companion.
