Animanymals

Who you are writing to

Lucas, and a room full of animals

Animanymals started as one leopard gecko on a bedroom shelf. It is now a dedicated animal room, a small aviary and a handful of species kept properly, sold by the person who raised them.

What is here changes with the season. Usually that means leopard and crested geckos, bearded dragons, ball pythons and corn snakes from our own breeding, budgies, cockatiels and finches from the aviary, and a rotating group of guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits and rats. Everything grows up in large enclosures with proper lighting, a varied diet and daily contact with people.

Because the numbers stay small, every animal is known individually. You get the hatch or birth date, the parents where we have them, a feeding record and a care sheet written for your setup, not a printout.

Prices work the way they do at a market rather than in a shop. Each listing carries a class showing the range to expect, and the number is settled between the two of us. That is not a gimmick: animals differ, circumstances differ, and a good home has always been worth something.

The other half of that is saying no. If a species does not fit your home, your budget or your schedule, you will be told, and offered something that does. A reptile or a parrot can be a commitment of twenty years or more, and losing a sale is much cheaper than an animal ending up in a rescue.

Captive-bred only

No wild-caught animals, ever. Birds are closed-ringed and documented where the species requires it.

Prices you can discuss

A class, not a tag. Offers are expected, and a clear reason for a lower one is taken seriously.

Honest listings

Sex, age, size and feeding status on every listing, including the reserved and rehomed ones.

Support for life

Questions years after purchase are still welcome. Most buyers stay in touch, and many come back.

Visit

Come and meet the animals

This is not a shop with opening hours. Book a visit and you will be shown the animal room and the aviary, meet the parents where they are here, and get every question answered. Bring photos of your enclosure if you already have one.
